A placemat hand embroidered with two tiny conversations in the city - an invitation to dance, a handshake between businessmen, a couple on their way to dinner.
All of my items are embroidered entirely my hand using a freehand technique - I work directly onto the fabric without transfers or pre-drawn designs which creates a sense of spontaneity and dynamism within each piece. And as a result, every design is completely one-of-one and unique to its owner.
There are so many beautiful items that go to waste, so where possible, I work with reclaimed and vintage textiles, giving new life to existing materials. Each piece is carefully sourced for its quality and condition, but may carry small signs of its previous life.
